Kol Nidre Appeal
These have been stressful, turbulent times with all of us impacted in one way or another by the Covid 19 pandemic. More so than ever, OWHC strives to be the anchor and safe harbor for our members and the community. Our clergy, along with member volunteers, have done a yeoman's job, attending to the needs, concerns and personal crises of our membership. Indeed while we look forward to returning to "normal", it is reassuring to know that our clergy are "there for us" and that our members extend a warm embrace to each other.
As we approach the High Holiday season, OWHC continues to be the vital religious center of our community. Our needs and costs continue to rise with the Shul now incurring new Covid-related expenses for tents, PPE and security. In addition, we have experienced a serious shortfall in income as well as a significant loss of income from the use of our facility for simchas. As we turn to you for your generous support of our annual Kol Nidre Appeal, we are cognizant that some of you may have been financially impacted by the current situation. We do hope you will do your best to strengthen and help maintain OWHC by contributing to this year's Kol Nidre Appeal.
